Six Months, Baby.
Last Thursday she turned a half-year, six months, wow. It really does go fast. Last year, this time, I was still worried I'd lose the pregnancy again, but optimistically just in the second trimester.
She's sitting up like a champ, babbling, playing with "real" food a bit now. Laughing a lot, becoming a lot more interactive and fun.
I took her outside to take some nice six month pictures, dressed her all up in the cute little dress I knit her. She wanted to play with a stick, not her little deer toy, then, when I laid her down to take one of those cute popping her head up on her hands pics, she decided she wanted to play with a handful of dead grass/leaves/dirt. That's my baby!
In other news, I finished designing a cowl for handspun yarns, in two weights, one handpainted spun roving, the other plain roving, and sent some pics in to Spin Off magazine. The editor loved them, decided to feature the pattern in the magazine! So, I'll have a nice pattern and article in the Spring 2010 Spin Off! Woot!
