Peep, Cheep, cheep. peep.

Nate takes better chicken pics than me!

A Maran baby....

An Ameraucana chickie...

And a White Leghorn babe...

We also have some Delawares, but no cute pics of them.

The fun thing is that they're all hens, and will all lay....but, they all lay different colored eggs! We'll have white from the Leghorns, tan from the Delawares, blue-green from the Ameraucanas, and dark chocolate brown from the Marans!

Cute widdle chickies! My husband used to work with a woman who was a chicken nut. She and her husband kept their chicks in the house and watched country music videos with them.

Is the Leghorn named Foghorn?

Um, wow, I can't top watching country music videos with chickens but we did trade two in one year for a bag of seed potatoes.

You'll have to post pics of your rainbow eggs!

Looking forward to seeing your Sunday morning breakfast table, complete with eggs in all the colours. I'm no egg person, but the chickies sure are cute!

Cute photos! Can't wait to see the eggs.

The owner of the house we are buying in France is leaving his bantams for us - it will be great to have chickens again.

Chickies! Blue chicken eggs?!? Wow, the wonders never cease!

I used to know a guy who had 'chickens'. "Come and see my chickens" he'd tease. His 'chickens' were ostriches. They're long gone now, the guy and the chickens. Development. Now the ostrich property is a subdivision.
