Frog or not?

I recently inherited some pink bunny yarn. 100% angora, about 12 balls. It's divinely soft of course, and very warm. However, I don't tend to wear pink, and the 25g balls have no listed yardage, as it's vintage yarn. So...a while back I started a heart lace scarf with it, intending to give it to my neice for Valentine's Day.

But, the neice lives in Palm Springs. Hot, not exactly angora wearing weather, even in February. So...a few pics of the scarf here for your perusal.

With one question, should I frog this or not? If you vote to frog, any suggestions as to what else I should do with lovely, soft, warm, pink, bunny yarn of unknown yardage?

It's a great little scarf. It seems a shame to frog it.

Do you have any other relatives who wear pink but live in colder climates?

If you frog, you could give the yarn a bath in some dye.

If not a scarf, you could make a pink beret.

I think it is coming out great. Great pattern for the yarn. I would second the "finding someone else to give it to".

Isn't there some kind of pink scarf charity in October for breast cancer survivors? Whip it up now. Stow it away til October, when October comes mail it in to where ever (I remember Zonda and Cpurl doing this last year they might know more than me) and ta-da! You get a warm fuzzy angora feeling!

It is beautiful! I'd hate to frog it!

As for this http://www.pinkchallenge.blogspot.com/

that CPurl and I did, it's ongoing if you want to donate to.

If not finish and save it, you might find someone who'll need it.

I say dye it a different color. It is a lovely scarf - are you sure you can't use a little pink in your wardrobe?

I think it is super pretty and it would be a shame to send it to the pond. It's always good to have a few gifts on hand for unexpected gifting if you don't want to give it to your neice.

I agree with the others - it is lovely (me I love pink, especially fuzzy pink so I am biased) - I think Bezzies idea was really good. So your fuzzy will give you a fuzzy good feeling and make someone elses life fuzzy too.

ooh fuzzy! i don't know if you crochet, but what about (some approximation of) the bunny slippers from SNB crochet?

It would be such a shame to frog it - it's a very pretty scarf. I'd go with gifting it either to someone else you know, or do what Bezzie suggested.
